About Us
About Us
Founded in 2017, Soft Landing Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. is dedicated to rescuing animals in need. In January 2023, we became an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our sanctuary is located in Herndon, Pennsylvania.
Our work now reaches beyond borders. Cats in desperate need from Egypt, Kosovo, and beyond have found safety and love through our rescue efforts.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe and compassionate refuge for feral cats, cats with behavioral challenges, and those who are sick or injured. Through dedicated rehabilitation, medical care, and patient socialization, we give every cat the chance to heal, thrive, and find a loving forever home whenever possible.
While cats are at the heart of our mission, our compassion extends to other animals as well. We also rescue and provide sanctuary for tortoises, reptiles, miniature horses, miniature donkeys, and outdoor feathered friends.
Holly came to us in April 2025. We were able to raise funds to pull her from her living situation. She has severe deformity of her carapace from improper care. Her carapace has pyramiding and has sunk in some. Holly will be a lifelong sanctuary resident.
